5.       But the camera was invented, as we know it today, by french inventor Joseph Nicéphore Niépce in 1816.

6.      And in 1975, Steven Sasson invented the world's first digital camera.

7.      It weighed around 8 pounds (3.6 kg) and shot a mere 0.01 MP.

8.      A digital camera is used to click photos digitally.

9.      A digital camera stores images digitally in its memory instead of recording on film.

10.   The digital images can be saved on the computer.

11.   These images can also be transmitted over the internet.

12.   These images can be edited using photo-editing software.
